We introduce a new type theoretic generalisation of a category, known as a weak-target category. After recalling the relevant background, we show that weak-target categories are equivalent to self-similar actions of groupoids on categories. We finish by showing a prospective definition of a weak-target presheaf, and discuss how we plan to use this to compute the cohomology of self-similar actions.
