In this talk I'll discuss two examples of infinity (pr)operads that arise from geometric examples– the first comes from low dimensional topology and the theory of -tangles and the second from the real points of a moduli space of algebraic curves with -marked points. I'll explain how actions of these weakened (pr)operads are related to formality theorems for lie algebras and lie bialgebras.
